This model shows the morphology of the stomach in a moderately distended state. Through a longitudinal section it shows the structure of the gastric folds, the pyloric valve, the pyloric sphincter muscle, the gastric mucosa and the mucosa of the lower oesophagus. Made of rigid plastic and enlarged to twice life size.
