Why the price depends on weight
A microscope is not a box of slides. Each carrier has a real weight limit, so a method that cannot take your parcel is not offered at all rather than quoted at a price that would not hold.
Orders are paid before dispatch, or on an invoice for institutions buying against a purchase order.
Returns
If you bought as a consumer you may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
That right does not apply to a purchase made by a company or an institution for its own activity.

Tell us as soon as you notice. These are optical instruments — do not send one back before we have agreed how it should be packed.
