Description
The Optek Bino Student is made for examining specimens in transmitted and reflected light. It uses a number of modern features:
* a binocular head
* upper and lower illumination with adjustable intensity, so both transparent and opaque specimens can be viewed
* built-in rechargeable batteries which, with the LED illuminator, allow work without mains power — in the field or in a school laboratory
* an ergonomic handle with a non-slip coating
* a two-layer stage and coaxial coarse/fine focus knobs (graduated)
* until now all of these belonged to expensive laboratory microscopes
* the equipment, the ergonomics, the portability and above all the price make this decidedly the best offer on the market
* an upper stage position lock, which stops the slide being crushed
* continuously adjustable light intensity

- eyepieces: wide-field WF10x/18 mm with pointers
- magnification range in the standard configuration: 40x–1000x
- coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs on both sides (coarse: 22 mm, fine: 1.3 mm)
