Description
Full description
The ST8050 series was designed for demanding users.
For their price they have unusually bright optics and a large depth of field, excellent zoom mechanics with the widest range at 0.8x–5x, and a modular build that can be configured freely.
Worth particular note on this model:
* wide-field eyepieces with protective fold-back rubber eyecups, designed to work for people who wear prescription glasses
* the very wide zoom range makes magnifications from 4x to 200x possible (the modules are in our range)
* the graduated zoom knob tells you exactly what magnification the microscope is working at — which you have to know in order to measure
* the advanced focusing system lets the resistance of the focus knobs be adjusted
* the trinocular version (ST8050T) has a CS-Mount connector with a 0.5x factor (ST1/2CTV), which captures an image with a field of view comparable to what the eyepieces show.
* the head comes with a mount for a ring illuminator as standard, so any ring light can be fitted without special adapter rings
* the whole set assembles without tools
Head: binocular (ST8050), inclined 45°, rotates 360°, interpupillary distance 52–75 mm, dioptre adjustment on both sides ±5
