Description
Full description
The SZM series was designed for demanding users.
For their price they have unusually bright optics and a large depth of field, excellent zoom mechanics with the widest range at 0.7x–4.5x, and a modular build that can be configured freely.
Worth particular note on this model:
* multi-purpose stand - the stand works with or without the boom arm, so it also suits a bench with little room to spare. The head can be worked horizontally, and its angle of inclination can be changed.
An advanced double horizontal bearing-mounted arm with a counterweight makes the whole assembly very stable and lets the head be extended fully without force — for inspecting motherboards, pictures, documents and so on.
* wide-field eyepieces with protective fold-back rubber eyecups, designed to work for people who wear prescription glasses
* the very wide zoom range makes magnifications from 3.5x to 180x possible (the modules are in our range)
* the graduated zoom knob tells you exactly what magnification the microscope is working at — which you have to know in order to measure
* the advanced focusing system lets the resistance of the focus knobs be adjusted
* the trinocular head (SZM7045T) comes with a tube adapter. It can also take a C-Mount module with a 0.5x factor (SZM1/2CTV) or 0.3x (SZM1/3CTV), which captures an image with a field of view comparable to what the eyepieces show — every adapter is adjustable so the captured image is as sharp as what the user sees through the eyepieces.
NOTE: choose the adapter to suit the camera you have — the sensor size and the mount type both matter.
* the head comes with a mount for a ring illuminator as standard, so any ring light can be fitted without special adapter rings
* the whole set assembles without tools
The SZM7045T-STL2 is the successor to the XTL VI Trino.
